KBTV Projekt ist ein TV-Viewer für FreeBSD / KDE meist in Python geschrieben. Es nutzt die PyQt / PyKDE3 Bindungen, SWIG und SDL und unterstützt Brooktree / Connexant BT8x8 (bktr) und Phillips SAA713x (SAA) anhand analoge TV-Karten sowie Philips kompatiblen USB-Webcams (PwC).
