How do you I use it?

You print to it as if it would be a printer.

First, make sure the VipRiser app is up and running.

Choose one of three destination:

á      CrocoDoc

The printed content will be automatically uploaded to the CrocoDoc server (www.crocodoc.com) and an URL placed on to your clipboard that you can use to share the document with anyone online. The CrocoDoc allows users not only to view the document but to annotate it in real-time as well.

á      DropBox

You will need to have the DropBox both installed and running (www.dropbox.com). Check both the VipRiser and the DropBox use the same folder for synchronization (Dropbox in userÕs home directory by default). The folder location may be adjusted in VipRiserÕs preferences.

Once the resulting PDF is synchronized with your DropBox account, you may choose to share it with other users or open it up in any DropBox-aware application, for example iAnnotate running on an iPad (iAnnotate).

á      iTunes

Anything you print will be turned into a electronic book file, placed into ÔBooksÕ library and synchronized with your iPad. In order to read the ÔbookÕ, you will need to use iBook App from the AppÕs Store, which is available for free, or any other compatible book reader.

In the standard print dialog box select ÔPrint to VipRiserÕ as printer to be used. If this choice is missing in the list, it means you may have to install the virtual driver first.

Alternatively, you may choose to take a screenshot, which would then be ÔprintedÕ to the VipRiser the same way as a document would have been. When you Ôtake a screenshotÕ, mouse cursor will turn into a Ôcross-hairÕ enabling you to select an area you would like to take a screenshot of. You may cancel the selection be pressing the ÔescÕ key.
