Resetting an application

Resetting an application removes all the selected privacy information from that application, not just information saved from the last time you used it.

To reset an application:

If the application you wish to reset is open, quit the application first.

Step 1

Select the application in the main Tiptoe window.

Step 2

Choose Application > Reset Application…, or click Reset in the toolbar.

Step 3

Select the items you want to reset.

Step 4

Click Reset.

Warning: On Lion or later, a warning symbol Sandbox Warning can appear at the far-right of the application name in the main Tiptoe window. This shows that the application has been sandboxed by its creator to improve security. Sandboxed applications may prevent Tiptoe from providing full privacy.
