Rules of the Game
Fill in the grid so that every row, every column and every 3x3
box contains digits 1 through 9.You can work along rows, columns
and 3x3 box one by one. But begin with the group with the most
number of givens. Each puzzle has a unique solution and can be
solved by logic. But sometimes guessing helps esp in case of hard
puzzles.
New Game
Clicking on
will give options to generate a puzzle out of the four difficulty
levels : Simple, Easy, Medium and Hard.
Playing Game
To make an entry in the grid, first select a radio button
(1-9). Left clicking at a point makes the entry. If the Warning
button is ON
,
the correct entry will be reflected in blue colour
and
incorrect entry will be reflected by red colour
If Warning is OFF
then incorrect entries will not be reflected and all the entries
will be in blue. Expert Sudokool players can use pencil feature to
work out a puzzle. Right click will put a grey coloured pencil
entry
which can be used as a rough work. Right clicking again on a wrong
entry or a pencil mark will delete it.
Custom Puzzle
If you want to play a puzzle from
newspapers,magazines etc. Then you can use the Custom Puzzle
feature of Sudokool. Click on
and enter puzzle directly on the puzzle grid. After filling the
puzzle, click on
to verify the puzzle.If Sudokool verifies that the puzzle has a
unique solution, it will be loaded and can be played.
Save/Load Game
You can save game at any point by
clicking on
and the same can be loaded again through

Pause/Resume Game
Pause using
which
will pause the time and hide the puzzle. Resume by game by
clicking on
which
appears after you click on pause button.
Hints
You can turn hints ON/OFF using.
Hints are nothing but all the possible entries which can be made
at any point.Hints get updated automatically as you make entries
on the grid.
Play Again
You
can play the last loaded puzzle again from the beginning.
Show Solution
View solution of the currently
loaded puzzle at any point in the game.
