How to configure Share's dock

Share's Dock is a convenient way to access the many portals. It is limited, however, by the size of the browsing window. There is a way, however, to choose what is on the Dock if you use Safari. From the main screen (with the heading "Available portals"), you can drag items off of the Dock. You can also drag items from the list of portals onto the Dock by dragging them onto the thin blue strip that is the bottom of the Dock. The items are added to the end of the Dock. In order to arrange the Dock's items, you'll need to drag every item off of the Dock and then drag them back on in the order you prefer.

Why isn't this customization available in Firefox/Camino?

This feature takes advantage of certain features of Safari that were added for Dashboard widgets. If the rendering engine in Firefox/Camino ever adds similar convenience methods, this feature will be added.

Will this feature ever be added for Internet Explorer?

Don't count on it. Coding for Internet Explorer is a headache. Search for "internet explorer" and "standards compliance" for other opinions. If IE ever makes implementing drag and drop as easy as Safari, then it's a possibility.
